<br><p>This document describes the licensing terms regarding the <a href="http://www.openmamba.org/distribution">openmamba GNU/Linux distribution</a> and the <a href="http://www.openmamba.org">www.openmamba.org</a> web site.

<h2>Web site contents</h2>
<p>Contents from the main web site (<a href="/">www.openmamba.org</a>),
the forum (<a href="forum.openmamba.org">forum.openmamba.org</a>) and the <a href="/distribution">mailing lists</a>,
where not differntly specified, are released under a Creative Commons license:

<p>Copyright covered contents that is non complatible with a Creative Commons license will be immediately removed, as
specified in the <a href="/community/privacy.html">Service acceptance conditions</a> subscribed during the registration on the

<h2>openmamba GNU/Linux distribution</h2>
<p>The openmamba GNU/Linux distribution mostly consist of software released under the terms of one of the
Open Source licenses approved by the <a href="http://www.opensource.org">open source initiative</a>.
There are listed in <a href="http://www.opensource.org/licenses/alphabetical" target="_new">this page</a>.
<p>The software parts whose copyright is owned by openmamba developers (e.g. mamba installer, distromatic, postplug)
and thus the openmamba GNU/Linux distribution as a whole, are released under the
<a href="http://katolaz.homeunix.net/gplv3/gplv3-it-final.html">GNU General Public License version 3</a> license.
Some openmamba components previously released under the version 2 of the GPL license will progressively be updated to the new
version.

<li>Adobe Flash plugin (not distributable but downloadable)
<li>Win32 codecs (non distributed but downloadable)
<li>public domain software
